24 January 2015 - Central Winds Park, Winter Springs
REGISTER/START TIME: Between 8:30 to 10:00 am. Finish by 1 pm

DESCRIPTION: The 5 and 10K walks are at your own pace and excellent for you and a family. The walk will be in both residential areas and on the Cross Seminole trail. Wheelchairs and strollers acceptable, though some streets have no sidewalk. Leashed pets are allowed on a leash. Please carry water. DIRECTIONS: To Central Winds at 1000 Central Winds Drive from Orlando use I-4E or I-4W and take exit 92, SR 434. Turn right from Orlando, left from Sanford, go 7.5 miles crossing Ronald Reagan & US 17-92. Turn left to the park and left again to entrance. Follow signs. From east Orlando use SR 417N to exit 44. Turn left for 3 miles and turn right and then left to park entrance. Follow signs. Call Mike for info on day of event at 407.304.6394.

7 February 2015 - Blue Springs SP, Orange City
AVA Special Program: Boardwalks, Flags, USA A-Z: O
DESCRIPTION: If the weather is cool, arrive before 8 to be
in line. You must pay a park entrance fee, $6 for 2-8, $4
single. Register and begin the walk anytime between 8:30 and
9:30 and walk 5 & 10km route. This is the largest spring on the St
Johns River and is a designated Manatee Refuge during the
winter, home to a growing population of the West Indian
Manatee. Walk on paved park road, unpaved campground road,
service road, hiking trail, Blue Run and Spring Boil Boardwalk
where manatees are present in colder winter months. The routes
are NOT suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Pets are NOT
allowed. Please carry water. The route is courtesy of the Florida

DIRECTIONS: To the Park at 2100 West French Ave., Orange
City, from I-4E take exit 111B, turn right on Saxon Blvd. for 1.3
miles. Turn right on Enterprise for one mile. Turn right on US 17-
92 for two miles. Turn left on West French Ave. for two miles
and then left into Park. Call Mike at 407.304.6394 on the event
day. From I-4W use exit 114 and turn right on CR 472 towards
DeLand. Exit south to Orange City. Turn right on West French
and proceed to the park. Trail rating 1B. For information on the

21 February 2015 - Leesburg Sleepy Hollow Recreation Complex
AVA Special Programs: Animal Safari (Angel Fish Loop),
Flags, Trekking with Trees (Ashton Woods Ln.), Food for
Thought (Tomato Hill Rd.). USA A-Z: L.
DESCRIPTION: Register and begin the walk any time between
8:30 and 10:00 and walk a 5 & 10 km route. The walks are at
your own pace and excellent for you and your
family/friends. The walk will be on country roads with NO
sidewalks and in sub-developments with inconsistent sidewalks.
Where there are no sidewalks there are wide grassy verges on which to walk; wheelchairs and strollers will be hard to
maneuver. Leashed pets are allowed. Please carry water. For

DIRECTIONS: To Sleepy Hollow Complex at 2775 Hollow
Lane, Leesburg from Orlando drive to the Turnpike north and use
exit 285 (map link from Exit 285, http://goo.gl/maps/J2riv). Turn
right on US 27N. Drive 13 miles to SR 44. Turn right on SR
44E/Dixie Ave., pass the hospital, to US 441. Turn right on US
441 for 4 miles. Turn right on Sleepy Hollow Rd. for 0.7 miles.
Turn left on Hollow Ln. to complex. From US 441N (from
Orlando/ Sanford/Daytona) drive thru Tavares and after US
19/US 441 split follow US 441 and turn left on Sleepy Hollow
Rd. Turn left on Hollow Ln. to complex. From Tampa use I-
275/I75N (Map Link from I-275 in Tampa:
http://goo.gl/maps/Flbix) to Exit #321, I75N. Right on Cty 475E.
left on US 301 for 0.6 miles. Right on Cty 470E. LEFT on
FL33N. left on US27N. Turn right on SR 44E/Dixie Ave. for 4
miles, pass the hospital, and turn right on US 441. Turn Right on
Sleepy Hollow Rd. for 0.7 miles. Turn left on Hollow Ln. to
