DIRECTIONS
From Orlando take Interstate 4 east to Exit 90A, Maitland Blvd., and exit right (From Daytona use Exit 90 and turn left) to the second light, Maitland Ave. Turn right, go 1.3 miles to Packwood (1 block past Horatio). Turn left, pass Fire station on left, cross S. Orlando Ave. and turn right into the Walgreens parking lot. From Sanford or Orlando drive on US 17/92 to Maitland.

START/FINISH

Walgreens Pharmacy at 330 Orlando Ave. Opens at 8 AM. The registration box is at the photo counter to the right in the store. The walk must be accomplished in daylight hours. Pets are allowed but not in the store. Contact: Ron and Rosemary Barna, 407.894.3069, barnar@bellsouth.net

TRAIL

This 10 km (6.2 mi) event. Carry water; water and restrooms are available at Walgreens and Maitland Community Park. Wheelchairs and strollers acceptable except after rain. Please carry water. Trail Rating: 1

DESCRIPTION

The 10 km walk is a tree lined walk around Maitland and through residential areas. Restrooms are available at Walgreens, Maitland Community Park, and Minnehaha Park. It goes past the Waterhouse residence (built 1884) and the Maitland Art Center (Mon-Fri, 10 am to 4:30 p.m.; Sat-Sun, 12:00-4:30 p.m.). Alternate 2 km addition to the Birds of Prey Center of the Florida Audubon Society (Tue-Sun, 10 am to 4 p.m.).

NEARBY EVENT
Winter Park and its beautiful tree-lined streets are 4 miles away. Use Horatio (2 blocks north) to Temple, turn right to Palmer, left to Lakemont, right on Lakemont to and cross Aloma. Turn left at 1st light on Mizell to the Crosby YMCA.
